You can probably tell that I think Blogthings are fun. Those little memes can be surprisingly on target.
For example, the following one paints a pretty accurate picture of me.
You Are A Green Girl |
Of course, this one on thinking is me, too.
Your Dominant Thinking Style: Exploring |
An expert inventor and problem solver, you approach everything from new angles. You show people how to question their models of the world. |
Finally, I was checking out the Golden Compass website in eager anticipation of the movie based on one of my all-time favorite "thinking" books.
I have a daemon. I guess it's pretty much like me. Marcus think it's funny because he's a tiger.

Hey! I love the daemon thingy. Mine is a jackal. I'll probably post him after I get my email:)
Also, I was surprised but we appear to have the same exploring thinking style. Now, I'm all impressed with myself cuz I think like Macy!!!!
And I'm red. I'm not sure if I did the same test though cuz the link didn't work. Here's what mine said--
You are bright, bold, energetic, and intense.Your upbeat, zany energy inspires those who are down.
Spontaneous and playful, you also have a courageous and fearless side.
When you are too red: you are angry, overprotective, and truly scary.
When you don't have enough red: you are depleted and lifeless.
Probably all true.
Okay, back to writing and getting frustrated and raging at mediocrity. I figured out since commenting on your post on comfort that I actually rage at mediocrity. Please, please don't let me be hopelessly mediocre--
Oh -- thanks -- I fixed the link.
Funny that we think alike. I actually said that earlier to Marcus this evening. I made him watch the Golden Compass trailer 4 times. When he said no to the fifth, but I continued to talk about the book and what I thought and all the stuff I'd read about the author, he just gave me that look.
And I said that I might have found my philosophical book discussion friend in you since you mentioned breaking apart the book in discussions with your friend when we were talking about paranormal books (my new series). (OK -- was that a run-on or what?)
And then he was like "Oh, God, another one." Hehe.
So...it is actually quite a compliment to think like you. :)
And, btw -- I don't think it's possible for you to be hopelessly mediocre. Nope. I think your storytelling is brilliant.
